Management Sciences for Health is reruiting Procurement Officer in Abuja

Management Sciences for Health (MSH) improve health and saves lives, especially the world’s underprivileged and most vulnerable people, by closing the gap between knowledge and action in public health. POSITION: Procurement Officer
LOCATION: ABUJA

The role of the procurement Coordinator is to procure good and services in compliance with MSH procurement policies and procedures. s/he collects performa invoices on approved purchase requisitions, prepares offer analysis and males recommendations. Once the order has been completed, the procurement officer will follow up to assure delivery. She/he maintains procurement data including supplier list and standards of goods and services and ensures the effectiveness of procurement in timely and cost effective manner. QUALIFICATIONS:
BSC/HND in purchasing or related field
3 years experience  in procurement
Ability to work under pressure
Planning and scheduling skills
Have experience and knowledge of USAID procurement policy guidelines
Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to interact professionally with a culturally diverse staff, client and consultants
Ability to work independently; take initiative to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality
English fluently including business terminology required
Microsoft Office Suite applications will be an added advantage
NOTE: There are no relocation allowances available for this position
